Loyola University New Orleans Extends Enrollment Deadline for Incoming Students

In response to the challenges posed by the recent overhaul of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Loyola University New Orleans has extended the enrollment deposit deadline for incoming first-year students. The new deadline is now June 1, 2024, providing prospective students and their families additional time to receive and evaluate their financial aid packages.

This extension comes as universities nationwide face delays in receiving federal student financial data necessary for assembling financial aid offers. 

"It has been an unprecedented year for students and families navigating these changes," says Harvey Werner, Director of Undergraduate Admissions. "We are committed to ensuring that all potential members of our Wolf Pack have the information and support needed to make informed decisions about their education."

First-year students will start receiving financial aid award information from the university in mid-April, allowing students and their families to better understand the financial support available to them. Loyola encourages applicants to regularly check their inboxes for these critical updates.
