罗耀拉大学 新奥尔良 Hosts 国际 Women’s Day

罗耀拉大学 新奥尔良 invites visitors to campus in March for a special celebration of women on 国际 Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, 经济, 文化, and political 成就 of women. This year’s 国际 Women’s Day event serves as a call to action to inspire inclusion.

“We gather to celebrate 国际 Women's Day, an occasion to honor the resilience, 成就, and indomitable spirit of women worldwide,Jill Boatright说, executive director of Loyola’s Professional and Continuing Studies Program. “This event is a testament to the power of unity, as we come together to inspire change, 促进包容性, and champion the extraordinary contributions of women in every corner of the globe. We are paving the way for a future where every woman's voice is heard, and every woman's potential is realized.”

The event will feature guest speaker, Alla Rosca, Ph.D., World Affairs Council of 新奥尔良 (WACNO), President and Associate Researcher, 水滨的研究. Rosca will give a global perspective on 国际 Women's Day. She specializes in qualitative and quantitative research and has a doctoral degree in political science from Moldova State University. She has written three books and over 60 academic articles covering topics such as democratization, 安全, 教育, 管理, public relations and research methodology.

PACS is celebrating its 6th Cohort of the highly successful Women’s Leadership Academy as well as the upcoming 2nd cohort of the Young Women's Leadership Academy.
